The "Rent Duck verified company" designation is a process of discerning legitimate companies from potential scams. It indicates that the company's existence has been verified on at least one state records repository. It must have a website, a business address with conspicuous signage, and a local phone number. There are a couple of other proprietary elements done as well, which are not disclosed.
